George Brickhouse and his wife, Hannah Luddington, settled on the Eastern Shore of Virginia near Nasswadocks about 1654/5. Peter Brickhouse, a grandson of George and Hannah moved his family to Tyrrell County, North Carolina in 1755. Many in the Brickhouse family have remained in or near Tyrrell County ever since. One branch of the Tyrrell County Brickhouse family moved to Alabama in 1842, then into Tennessee and then into Texas. Today, there are several hundred families of Brickhouses throughout the United States. An annual family reunion takes place usually the second Saturday of August in either Virginia or North Carolina.

Some of Alverta's g'children had babies when in their late 50s.);

cerificate in 1912 but was alive about 1899 to sire Gertrude which places his death between 1898 and 1912;

Ahnentafel Chart - Defination:
Ahnentafel is actually a German word that literally translates as "ancestor table". It is a list of all known ancestors of an individual and includes the full name of each ancestor as well as dates and places of birth, marriage and death. It also has a strict numbering scheme.
